CANNON COUNTY WALKING HORSE ASSOCIATION

~~The Historical Committee is constructing a book of the history about the Cannon County Walking Horse Association, and YOU are part of THAT history!

Our book will follow the development of the association from the first organized ride in 1940 up to the recent land purchase. One of the features will be the member riders on the mountain who will tell their stories of spectators over the years who have watched the annual parade through Woodbury.

This is a great time to 'ride' down memory lane by looking at your albums and selecting important photographs that illustrate your special CCWHA and Short Mountain experiences with family and friends whether your ride, camp or just visit. Once you have done this, contact any member of the Historical Committee listed on this page and we will help you design your page(s).

 This book will be a treasure that your family will enjoy for generations.
